A founder member of the Palestinian Women's Action Committee Federation, and also founder member of Women's Studies Centre in Jerusalem. She was the first Editor of Al-mara’ and "Kul Al-Nisaa" Women's Magazine, and coordinator of the Educational Outreach Program for women.
